TEAM: Sanogo, Rambo & Monreal Start As Arsenal Take On Boreham Wood
Arsenal kick off their pre-season preparations with a friendly against Boreham Wood at Meadow Park today.
None of the World Cup players are involved but we’ll still see the likes of Ramsey, Szczesny, Monreal and Jenkinson from the start, while Rosicky, Gibbs, Flamini and Diaby are all on the bench.
As expected, there is no sign of Theo Walcott despite his name being included in the squad in the programme and his shirt being spotted in the dressing room.
Here’s the team:
Szczesny, Jenkinson, Ajayi, Hayden, Monreal, Ramsey, Coquelin, Zelalem, Willock, Toral, Sanogo
Subs: Martinez, Bellerin, Gibbs, Miquel, Rosicky, Pleguezuelo, Afobe, Akpom, Olsson, Flamini, Diaby
