Arsenal Target Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo

Arsenal are reportedly turning their attention to Bournemouth’s forward Antoine Semenyo, according to reports from CaughtOffside
Arsenal currently sit second in the Premier League, six points adrift of leaders Liverpool. With their title ambitions in mind, manager Mikel Arteta is reportedly eager to add firepower to his frontline to improve the Gunners’ attacking output.
This season, Arsenal have struggled in front of goal due to long-term injuries to Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus. Although attackers such as Kai Havertz, Gabriel Martinelli, Leandro Trossard, and Raheem Sterling have contributed to the goals tally, their inconsistency has left Arteta searching for reinforcements.
According to reports from CO, Arteta has identified Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo as a prime target. The 23-year-old has been in excellent form for Andoni Iraola’s Cherries this season and could be the solution to Arsenal’s attacking struggles.
Antoine Semenyo to Arsenal
Semenyo has enjoyed a stellar campaign, scoring seven goals and providing four assists in all competitions. The Ghanaian forward’s impressive performances have positioned him as a potential competitor for Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard in the wide attacking roles.
He would undoubtedly bring more depth and quality to Arsenal’s attack if they could get a deal done, but CO claims Bournemouth value Semenyo at £50m so the North Londoners will have to be prepared to dig deep.
Mikel Arteta will also need to convince Bournemouth to part ways with one of their standout players. Bournemouth’s determination to retain Semenyo could make negotiations challenging, but Arsenal appear determined to pursue the winger as a key transfer target.
While Semenyo remains a priority, Arsenal are also monitoring Benjamin Šeško and Matheus Cunha. However, the Gunners reportedly view the valuations of these players as excessive, potentially making a move for Semenyo a more feasible option.
Arteta is keen to act quickly, knowing the Gunners’ lack of attacking options could hinder their title charge if reinforcements are not secured quickly.
However, with no new signing through the door yet, the Spanish coach will have to make-do with the players he has in his squad when Arsenal take on Wolves at Molineux on Saturday afternoon.
