Confirmed line-ups: Arsenal vs Bayern Munich – Martinelli starts for Gunners

Arsenal will be looking to secure a first left advantage at the Emirates Stadium tonight when we take on Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

We head into the game sitting top of the Premier League table after beating Brighton 3-0 at the Amex Stadium on Saturday. Liverpool’s 2-2 draw at Man Utd the following day means Arsenal remain top on goal difference with seven games left to play.

However, our focus must now turn to the Champions League as Arsenal have a huge quarter-final tie with Bayern Munich to worry about. Mikel Arteta has made a couple of changes from the side that beat Brighton.

Jacub Kiwior is recalled to start at left-back with Oleksandr Zinchenko making way. David Raya keeps goal once again while Ben White, William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes all keep their places in the Arsenal defence.

Declan Rice starts again in midfield and he’ll be desperate to put on an impressive display in such a huge occasion. Martin Odegaard captains Arsenal tonight with Jorginho also keeping his place in the holding role. That means Thomas Partey has to settle for a place on the bench.

Bukayo Saka recovered from a knock to start against Brighton on Saturday and he keeps his place on the right wing. Gabriel Martinelli is recalled to start on the left flank so Gabriel Jesus makes way as Kai Havertz keeps his place up front.
