[Teams] Forgotten Arsenal striker starts vs Tottenham U23’s
Forgotten Arsenal striker Yaya Sanogo is set to make his long-awaited return after being selected for the Arsenal U23’s against Tottenham this afternoon.
We welcome our north London rivals to London Colney today and Sanogo will lead the line up front after recovering from an injury that has plagued him all season.
It’s great to see the 24-year-old back on the pitch after so long on the sidelines and hopefully he can start to get his career back on track after two unsuccessful loan spells at Ajax and Charlton last year.
Carl Jenkinson also gets a run-out for the under-23’s today while Mathieu Debuchy also starts in the defence.
Here are the line-ups for today’s game:
Arsenal U23’s
Martinez, Jenkinson, Debuchy, Sheaf, Bramall, McGuane, Nelson, Malen, Dragomir, Willock, Sanogo
Tottenham U23’s
Lopez, Muscatt, Maghoma, Tanganga, Tsaroulla, Lesniak, Marsh, Styliandies, Shashoua, Pritchard, Tracey.
