[Photos] Mesut Ozil helps unveil new Arsenal 2017/18 away kit
One of the worst kept secrets in football was finally confirmed today as Arsenal and PUMA officially unveiled our new away kit for the upcoming 2017/18 season.
No doubt you’ve all seen images of the away kit ‘leaked’ on social media sites like Twitter and Facebook in recent weeks so today’s unveilling should come as little surprise.
First team stars Mesut Ozil, Hector Bellerin and Theo Walcott are among the players to appear in the promotional material for the new kit.
As you can see from the images, the kit is light blue fading in to dark blue further down the front and into the shorts. There is also a slight pattern effect running through the shirt and there is some nice detailing down the shoulder line.
I have to admit I wasn’t a huge fan when I first saw the kit but it’s grown on me, like all the others eventually do! Not sure I like it enough to buy just yet though.
The kit will be worn throughout the coming season but fans will get a first glimpse of the kit when we take on Benfica in the Emirates Cup this weekend.
