Tweets: Walcott, Ozil & Ramsey React On Twitter To Man Utd Draw
Some of the players have been reacting on social media after Arsenal salvaged a crucial 1-1 draw with Manchester United at Old Trafford this afternoon.
Theo Walcott came off the bench to force the equaliser in the the 82nd minute as Tyler Blackett put his cross into his own net to cancel out Ander Herrera’s first half strike.
The draw leaves us two points clear in third so a draw against Sunderland on Wednesday will be enough to ensure we finish in the top three and will therefore automatically qualify for the Champions League next season.
Theo has posted a message on Instagram this evening saying that he’s trying to claim the goal but acknowledges the ball was probably going wide and believes we picked up a ‘great’ result today.
Aaron Ramsey, Hector Bellerin and Mesut Ozil have also been on Twitter to react to the United stalemate. Check out what the players have had to say here:
Big point today. Great fight and spirit shown by the team #COYG pic.twitter.com/f54VGpgomT
