Confirmed line-ups: Southampton vs Arsenal: Martinelli & Gabriel start
Arsenal are on the South Coast to take on Southampton at St Mary’s Stadium in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
The boss has made several changes from the side that beat Newcastle last time out with Gabriel among those recalled to the starting eleven. The Brazilian lines-up alongside Rob Holding in defence with Cedric Soares moving to left-back to accommodate Hector Bellerin’s return on the right.
Mohamed Elneny comes-in to partner Granit Xhaka in midfield with Thomas Partey dropping to the bench. Nicolas Pepe and Gabriel Martinelli appear to be starting on the wings for Arsenal with Willian in the No.10 role.
Eddie Nketiah leads the line up front with Alexandre Lacazette and Bukayo Saka among the subs. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Kieran Tierney and Emile Smith Rowe are among the Arsenal players who’re rested from the squad.
