Arsenal have a good chance to sign Real Madrid’s Endrick
Arsenal reportedly have a good chance of signing Real Madrid forward Endrick in January, according to TEAMtalk.
Following Gabriel Jesus’ move to Barcelona, the Gunners currently have Kai Havertz and Viktor Gyokeres as options at striker position.
However, the Swedish international has struggled to find his feet in the Premier League since joining from Sporting CP last summer. On the other hand, Havertz has had a few fitness problems in recent years.
So, Arsenal could do with signing a new striker next year. TEAMtalk claim that Arsenal have expressed their interest in Endrick and have a good chance of signing him in January if he becomes available.
AS report that having struggled to break into Jose Mourinho’s starting line-up this season, Endrick could leave in January to play regularly and develop his career.
The player’s representatives are set to hold talks with Los Blancos to understand whether he will receive regular playing time over the coming months.
TEAMtalk further state that Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur made contact to sign Endrick this summer. However, only Arsenal keep on showing interest in him.
Apart from Endrick, the North London club have also been linked with a move to sign Fulham centre-forward Gonzalo García.
Endrick to Arsenal
The Brazilian is valued at around £35m by Transfermarkt and still has a contract until 2030. Therefore, Los Blancos are in a strong position to demand a big fee if they are forced to cash-in.
Endrick is a left-footed versatile forward as he is comfortable in the striker and right-wing positions. He is quick, strong, technically sound, possesses powerful shots, and is efficient in finishing off his chances.
Although Endrick has struggled to break into Real Madrid’s starting line-up, he has continued to be a key player for the Brazilian national team.
Real Madrid currently have a well-stocked attacking department. So, Endrick would be better off leaving the Spanish capital to reach his full potential. He is a talented player and possesses high potential.
Therefore, he would be a great coup for Arsenal should they purchase him. However, it is going to be interesting to see whether the North London club eventually manage to lure him to the Emirates Stadium in January or next summer.
