Confirmed line-ups: Arsenal v Napoli – Torreira & Aubameyang start, Xhaka misses out
Arsenal need a win over Napoli at the Emirates this evening in order to take control of our Europa League quarter-final tie.
We’ve been boosted by the news that Laurent Koscielny has been passed fit to start in defence as he lines-up in a back three alongside Sokratis and Nacho Monreal. Shkodran Mustafi drops to the bench.
Granit Xhaka isn’t risked so Lucas Torreira joins Aaron Ramsey in the middle of the park with Mesut Ozil supporting Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette in attack.
With the exception of Petr Cech starting ahead of Bernd Leno in goal, this was the eleven I hoped Emery would pick tonight so let’s hope we’ve got it right.
These are the line-ups for the game:
Arsenal
Cech; Sokratis, Koscielny, Monreal; Maitland-Niles, Torreira, Ramsey, Kolasinac; Ozil; Aubameyang, Lacazette
Subs: Leno, Elneny, Mkhitaryan, Iwobi, Mustafi, Suarez, Guendouzi
Napoli
Meret; Hysaj, Maksimovic, Koulibaly, Mario Rui; Callejon, Allan, Fabian, Zielinski; Insigne, Mertens
Subs: Ospina, Malcuit, Ghoulam, Chiriches, Ounas, Younes, Milik
