Video: Arsenal 1-0 Newcastle: Ozil stunner settles things at the Emirates

Mesut Ozil scored a stunner as Arsenal went fourth in the Premier League with a 1-0 victory over Newcastle at the Emirates today.

We opened the scoring midway through the first half and it was a stunning opener as Ozil fired home a wonderful left-footed volley following a scramble in the box.

As always, we dominated possession but were struggling to create many clear cut opportunities with Jack Wilshere and Alexandre Lacazette missing the best of the chances in the second half.

Newcastle pushed for a late equaliser but we held on to secure a narrow 1-0 win which sees us climb up to fourth in the table having played a game more than Spurs and Liverpool.
