Video: Arsenal 2-0 Sunderland: Sanchez bags vital double
Arsenal moved to within just one point of the top four after easing to a 2-0 win over Sunderland at the Emirates this evening.
We dominated from the outset but missed a whole host of chances to break the deadlock in the first half with Giroud missing the best of them.
More of the same after the break but we finally found a way though when Xhaka found Ozil with a lovely ball and the German squared for Sanchez to tap home in the 72nd minute.
It was 2-0 almost ten minutes later and it was that man Sanchez again as he was on hand to head home from close range after Giroud’s effort was saved.
