TWEETS: Ramsey + Podolski React To Facing Palace On Opening Day
In case you missed it, the Premier League fixtures for the 2014/15 season were announced this morning and Arsenal will entertain Crystal Palace at the Emirates.
It seems the fans aren’t the only one’s who are getting excited by the prospect of Premier League football returning, as two Arsenal players have taken to Twitter to voice their thoughts on facing Palace on the opening day.
Aaron Ramsey isn’t taking part at the World Cup so it’s understandable he “can’t wait” to get the new season underway when we welcome Tony Pulis’ side to north London.
Lukas Podolski is away in Brazil with the Germany squad but he took some time out to also gives his thoughts, which could suggest he will still be at the club to face the Eagles in mid-August, despite speculation he might be on the move this summer.
It’s a decent start for us and it’s always nice to kick the new season off at home. Let’s just hope for a better result than last year!
Seeing the fixtures come out is making me excited for the new season. Can't wait for the first game at home against Palace!
