Arsenal showing strong interest in signing Mohamed Belloumi

By on November 3, 2026

Arsenal are reportedly showing strong interest in signing Hull City forward Mohamed Belloumi, as per Maghreb-Foot.

After moving to MKM Stadium from Portuguese side FC Farense, the 24-year-old initially took time to adapt to English football. He helped his side gain promotion last term and has enjoyed a promising start in the Premier League this season.

In nine league appearances, he has scored three goals and registered two assists. Having proven his worth in club football, Belloumi has secured his place in the Algeria national team.

Now, Maghreb-Foot report (via Sport Witness) that after being impressed by Belloumi’s recent eye-catching performances, Arsenal have started showing strong interest in him.

Mikel Arteta’s side have been monitoring his development closely before making a potential swoop in the upcoming winter transfer window. The forward would be open to moving to the Emirates Stadium if they launch a formal proposal.

Belloumi is valued at around £15m by Transfermarkt and still has a contract until 2029. Therefore, Hull are likely to demand a sizable amount of money if they are forced to cash-in next year.

Belloumi is a left-footed, technically gifted right-sided forward. He can dribble past opposition defenders in tight areas and is efficient in creating opportunities for fellow attackers.

Belloumi to Arsenal

Arsenal currently have Bukayo Saka and Noni Madueke as specialist options to deploy on the right flank. Moreover, Max Dowman is emerging and can provide cover in this area.

However, Madueke has displayed inconsistent performances since joining from Chelsea, while Saka has struggled with fitness problems in recent years.

After sustaining a fresh injury against Bayern Munich, he is set to remain sidelined over the next few weeks. Dowman, on the other hand, is still very young and needs time to develop.

Therefore, the Emirates club could do with signing a new right-winger. Belloumi is a talented player and has shown glimpses of his qualities in the Premier League.

If he can continue showcasing his best in the English top-flight over the coming months, he might be a shrewd acquisition for Arsenal should they purchase him.

However, it is going to be interesting to see whether the North London club eventually make a concrete approach to secure his services.
