Arsenal are set to travel to AMEX Stadium to face off against Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The Gunners will be coming into this game off the back of a comfortable victory over Ipswich Town in the Carabao Cup third-round fixture in midweek. Moreover, they have won all four league matches.

Mikel Arteta’s side even won the opening Champions League encounter against Napoli last week. They also lifted the Community Shield by thrashing Manchester City 3-0 last week.

On the other hand, Brighton have enjoyed a promising start this season, winning the Carabao Cup third-round fixture against Manchester United in midweek.

Team news

After sustaining an injury against Sunderland last weekend, Ben White was unavailable vs Ipswich but could be fit enough to be involved in this encounter.

On the other hand, having remained sidelined over the last few months, Jurrien Timber returned to action vs Sunderland but wasn’t in the matchday squad in midweek.

So, he is in doubt for this fixture. Moreover, there are question marks regarding the availability of Cristhian Mosquera and Piero Hincapié.

Predicted line-up

Mike Arteta made several changes to his starting line-up in midweek but is expected to recall the stars in this game. So, David Raya is set to be in goal ahead of Kepa Arrizabalaga and Illan Meslier.

Ezri Konsa and Gabriel Magalhaes should be the centre-back pairing for the visitors, while White and Riccardo Calafiori might be the two fullbacks.

Declan Rice is likely to commence in the defensive midfield position and Bruno Guimaraes should be in the box-to-box role, with Martin Odegaard in the creative midfield position. Meaning Myles Lewis-Skelly, Martin Zubimendi and Mikel Merino may feature as substitutes if needed.

Christos Tzolis should be deployed on the left flank, and Bukayo Saka could be on the opposite side. So, Noni Madueke and Eberechi Eze would have to make do with a place on the bench.

Kai Havertz, valued at around £47m by Transfermarkt, is expected to lead the line for the Gunners in this game, and Viktor Gyokeres would be among the substitutes.
