Confirmed line-ups: Liverpool vs Arsenal – Confirmed teams from Anfield
Arsenal are on Merseyside to take on Liverpool at Anfield tonight looking to continue our recent solid form against the Premier League champions.
Mikel Arteta has made a number of changes from the side that beat Leicester City in the League Cup last week but Bernd Leno is a survivor from that line-up as he retains his place between the sticks tonight.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was given the night off at the King Power but he’s recalled to start in the Arsenal attack against Liverpool while Alexandre Lacazette leads the line up front with Eddie Nketiah dropping to the bench despite scoring last time out.
Granit Xhaka is also recalled to start in midfield with Joe Willock making way. Mo Elneny keeps his place with Dani Ceballos missing out. Willian is another player who comes back into the Arsenal side while Hector Bellerin comes in on the right. Ainsley Maitland-Niles start in he left wing back role.
Here are the line-ups:
Arsenal
Leno, Holding, Luiz, Tierney, Bellerin, Elneny, Xhaka, Maitland-Niles, Willian, Lacazette, Aubameyang
Subs: Gabriel, Saka, Ceballos, Runarsson, Pepe, Nketiah, Kolasinac
Liverpool

Subs: Adrian, Milner, Jones, Minamino, Jota, Origi, Williams

Bad team selection, especially in Defence. Our coach Mr. Arteta is adamant and still learning on the job.

There is no doubt that Arteta got his team line up by keeping Gabriel on the bench. Arteta should avoid being Chelsea’s dumping ground and go meaningfully for partey and sour

The thing is clear, Arteta is just a lucky guy but no better coach than Emery…can you imagine Arteta can’t still find his starting team until now. Why use a system that isn’t working over and over? Playing the ball from the box with a person in Luiz is but mess. Why play Luiz when you have Gabriel fit? Why keep Williams when he’s not producing? I wouldn’t drawn a team that could win this match….defense; terney,Gabriel, saliba n bellarim.
Midfield; xaka,elneny,nills n cebalos.
Attact; abameyan, lacazet and Williams/saka
