Two late goals helped Arsenal secure a hard fought 2-0 victory over Watford at the Emirates and extend our winning run to seven games in all competitions.
It was a very poor opening forty five minutes as we struggled to get going with an Alexandre Lacazette chance the closest we came to breaking the deadlock as the Frenchman chipped over Ben Foster when clean through.
Watford grew in confidence after the break and were causing problems but it was Arsenal who eventually found the opening goal in the 80th minute as good work from Alex Iwobi down the right led to Craig Cathcart putting through his own net under pressure from Lacazette.
We wrapped-up the three points minutes later as Danny Welbeck stole possession in midfield before finding Iwobi who passed to Lacazette and the striker squared for Mesut Ozil to score with a fine first time finish.
