[Tweet] Jack Wilshere sends message to Arsenal fans after excellent display at Palace
Jack Wilshere has sent a message of thanks to Arsenal fans after putting in an excellent performance during our 3-2 win at Crystal Palace last night.
Wilshere is enjoying an extended run in the first team while Aaron Ramsey is on the sidelines with a hamstring injury and he started his fourth consecutive Premier League game at Selhurst Park.
The 25-year-old produced another fine display as he ran the midfield for much of the game and set-up Alexis Sanchez for our third goal with a stunning long-range pass over the top.
Jack’s improving form and fitness has led to calls from the fans for Arsene Wenger to offer him a new contract and get his future resolved with some even suggesting he should be made captain!
The away fans sang Wilshere’s name all night at Palace and now the midfielder has taken to Twitter to thank the supports for ‘the love’ and to express his delight at picking up a vital three points.
It’s certainly good to see Wilshere fit and playing some great football in the Arsenal first team, let’s hope we can get his contract sorted and he finally puts his injury problems behind him.
Check out what Jack has said on Twitter:
3 points is what we came for and 3 points is what we left with! Job done, all focus on sunday now. Thanks to the fans for the love tonight ❤ much appreciated ?⚽️? pic.twitter.com/vXHmSNQXSR
