League Cup draw: Arsenal face Southampton in last 8

Arsenal have been drawn to play Southampton at the Emirates in the quarter finals of the League Cup.

We booked our place in the last 8 after easing to a 2-0 victory over Reading at the Emirates on Tuesday night thanks to a double from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

We’ve now been rewarded with a tie against Southampton with the south coast club coming to the Emirates on either the 29th or 30th of November.

It’s a solid draw but with Liverpool facing Leeds United and Manchester United taking on West Ham, the competition is still wide open.
