Video: Arsenal 6-0 Ludogorets: Ozil bags hat-trick in rout

Mesut Ozil scored his first ever professional hat-trick as Arsenal battered Ludogorets 6-0 at the Emirates on Wednesday night.

We started brightly and opened the scoring in the 12th minute when Alexis Sanchez found the back of the net with a lovely floating lob in to the top corner.

We continued to create chances and finally doubled our advantage when Ozil found Theo Walcott with a superb pass and the in-form attacker curled home from 25-yards.

The three points were in the bag when we made it 3-0 just seconds after the restart as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain fired in to the bottom corner from inside the area.

The goals kept coming as Santi Cazorla released Ozil with a pin-point long ball and the German international raced clear to slot home for 4-0 in the 56th minute.

The playmaker then made it 5-0 with a close range finish from a Lucas Perez cross before completing his treble with a superb volley late on.
