Video: Individual Highlights of Mesut Ozil’s MOM Display for Germany

Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil was in scintillating form once again last night as he put in a Man of the Match performance during Germany’s 2-1 win over Georgia.

The World Champions needed a win to guarantee top spot and automatic qualification to the 2016 European Championships and Ozil’s brilliance ensured they got the three points.

The 26-year-old won the penalty for the opening goal before setting up Kruse to score the winner with a sensational pass in the second half.

Throughout the ninety minutes, Ozil racked up over 100 passes, 10 of which were ‘key’ passes, and he ended up winning the Man of the Match and earned a WhoScored rating of 8.78.

It was another excellent display from Ozil and hopefully he can continue that form into the weekend when Arsenal take on Watford on Saturday evening.
