PHOTO: Wenger Presented With Gold Cannon To Honour 1000th Game
Arsene Wenger is set to take charge of his 1000th game as Arsenal boss this weekend when we take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Much has been written by blogs and in the newspapers these past few days about the Frenchman’s time in north London, but I think we can all agree it’s a a magnificent achievement.
Ahead of his press conference at London Colney this morning, Arsene was presented a golden cannon by Arsenal chairman Sir Chips Keswick to honour reaching this milestone.
It was hardly the most glamorous occasion, taking place in the car park, but the sentiment was still there.
Well done boss, hopefully we’re set to enter a new era of success under your stewardship.
