Arsenal got back to winning ways with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Bournemouth at the Emirates this afternoon with Danny Welbeck helping himself to a brace while Alexandre Lacazette scored a superb effort from outside the box.

Here are my ratings:

Cech  6/10 | As comfortable afternoon as he’ll have all season. Barely anything to do.

Koscielny  6.5/10 | Made a few routine headed clearances but easy days work for Kos.

Mustafi  7/10 | Good to see him back on form and Mustafi was arguably our best defender today.

Monreal  6/10 | Added good balance to the back three and didn’t put a foot wrong.

Bellerin  6.5/10 | Always a threat with his pace down the right but was overshadowed by Kolasinac.

Xhaka  7/10 | Controlled the game from deep for long periods but gave away a few sloppy balls.

Ramsey  7.5/10 | Nice assist for Welbeck’s second goal and worked hard in midfield.

Kolasinac  7.5/10 | Lovely assist for the opener and was a real threat down the left. Good to see him performing well in his best position.

Ozil  8.5/10 | Back to his best in a game that certainly suited him. Unlucky not to score a wonderful free-kick but he kept the ball moving all game and ran the show for much of the 90 minutes.

Welbeck  8/10 | Opened the scoring with a lucky ‘shoulder’ but his second goal was a superb finish. Great to see his hard work pay off with a couple of goals.

Lacazette  8/10 | Scored a wonderful goal from outside the area and his link-up play was excellent. He also worked hard and it was his persistence to win the ball that led to the third goal.

Subs:

Coquelin  6/10 | Forced off with a hamstring injury.

Sanchez 6.5/10 | A few boos when he came on but it was a lively cameo as he saw one shot saved and set up Giroud for another.

Giroud 6/10 | Almost grabbed a goal – which would have been his 100th for Arsenal.

Three points were all that mattered today but it was nice to put in an excellent performance and score a few goals. Let’s hope this result gives us confidence ahead of next weekend’s trip to Chelsea…
