Video: Arsenal 1-3 Monaco: Shameful Gunners On The Brink Of Exit
Arsenal put in yet another shambolic display in the Champions League last 16 to somehow lose 3-1 to a distinctly average Monaco side at the Emirates.
As a poor first half looked to be heading to it’s conclusion goalless, the visitors took a shock lead as Geoffrey Kondogbia’s long-range effort deflected past David Ospina via Per Mertesacker.
Thing got worse after the break when they ripped us apart on the counter attack and that man Berbatov slammed home for 2-0 in the 53rd minute.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain looked to have given us a lifeline when he curled one home in the 91st minute for 2-1 but once again Monaco cut us open on the break with Yannick Carrasco drilling past Ospina for 3-1.
