VIDEO: On-Loan Striker Joel Campbell Scores Superb Goal For Olympiakos
On-loan striker Joel Campbell has continued his excellent recent form with another well-taken striker for Olympiakos last night.
The young Costa Rican hitman opened the scoring with a superb left-footed finish from the edge of the area before the Greek side went on to see-off Ergotelis 3-0 to move top of the table.
It was Campbell’s fifth goal in 7 games, while he’s also provided 8 assists during that time, so he’s certainly having his most productive season to date.
As some fans have pointed out already, due to our lack of options up front, we could do with him in the squad now! Hopefully he’ll come back in the summer and be given a chance to stake his claim in the first team squad because he seems to be developing well and could be one to watch out for.
