[Video] Individual highlights of Dani Ceballos’ superb display for Arsenal vs Burnley
Dani Ceballos produced a sensational Man of the Match display during Arsenal’s 2-1 victory over Burnley at the Emirates Stadium this afternoon.
The 23-year-old joined Arsenal on a season long loan deal from Real Madrid earlier this month and he made a brief appearance off the bench during Arsenal’s 1-0 victory over Newcastle last weekend.
However, Ceballos was handed his full debut by Unai Emery against Burnley this afternoon and he produced a scintillating performance to announce himself as a real fan favourite already.
The Spaniard showcased a wonderful touch, some silky skills and he wasn’t afraid of the physical aspect of the game even against a tough Burnley side. Ceballos worked tirelessly to cover every blade of grass, winning numerous ball recoveries and his passing was excellent.
The midfielder set up Alexandre Lacazette for the opening goal with a pin-point cross and it was his vital interception that won us the game as he won possession in the Burnley half before giving the ball to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to fire home the eventual winner.
It was a virtuoso performance that rightly earned Ceballos the MOTM award and many fans have likened him to Santi Cazorla. It’s easy to see why as Ceballos has wonderful feet and I think he’s going to be a huge player for us during his season on loan.
Sit back and enjoy highlights of his performance today:
