Video: Burnley 0-1 Arsenal: Last gasp Sanchez sends Gunners 4th
Alexis Sanchez scored an injury time penalty to secure Arsenal a 1-0 win over Burnley and send us above Tottenham in to fourth.
As you’d expect, it was a tight game at Turf Moor this afternoon and Burnley certainly gave as good as they got during the first half as they caused us plenty of problems at the back.
However, we dominated after the break but struggled to create any clear cut chances and it looked as though we’d have to settle for a point.
But there was late drama as referee Lee Mason pointed to the spot after Aaron Ramsey was pushed in the area and Sanchez made no mistake to score from the resulting penalty to claim a vital three points.
The victory sees us leapfrog Liverpool and Tottenham in to fourth position in the table and we’re now just one point behind Chelsea.
