Video: Arsenal 2-1 Man City: Walcott scores stunner to sink City

Arsenal make a real statement of intent in the title race with a hard fought 2-1 victory over Manchester City at the Emirates.

We opened the scoring in the 33rd minute in spectacular fashion when Walcott bent home from the edge of the area. Unsurprisingly Ozil got the assist.

It was 2-0 on the stroke of half-time as Giroud powered home a left-footed finish between Hart’s legs, and yes you guessed it, Ozil with the assist once again.

City ensured it was a nervy last 10 minutes when Toure pulled one back with a stunning strike from the edge of the box in the 82nd minute.

However, we managed to hold on and secure a HUGE win to move to within two points of leaders Leicester.
