Video: Jack Wilshere Almost Scores For U21’s After Superb Run
Jack Wilshere is in action for the Arsenal under-21’s this evening as he continues to find his way back to full fitness.
The 23-year-old lined-up alongside Abou Diaby in central midfield against Reading Under-21’s at the Emirates Stadium.
It looks as though Jack is getting back to something like his best form as he went close to scoring after a lovely twisting run resulted in his right-footed shot being tipped over the bar.
Wilshere then followed that up with another superb run before teeing up Iwobi with a cheeky back-heel.
Unfortunately we’re losing the game 0-1 (at the time of writing) but there’s still time for us to find our way back into the match.
Abou Diaby was substituted shortly after half-time but there was no sign that he’d picked up an injury.
