Arsenal’s triple injury boost as key trio train ahead of AC Milan clash
Arsenal have been handed a triple injury boost as Hector Bellerin, Nacho Monreal and Shkodran Mustafi have all taken part in full training today ahead of our clash with AC Milan.
We welcome the Italian giants to the Emirates tomorrow night for the second leg of our Europa League last-16 tie and we’ve been sweating on the fitness of our defensive trio.
Bellerin has missed the last two games with a knee injury that he picked up after the defeat to Brighton at the start of the month and the Spaniard was considered a doubt to face Milan.
Monreal on the other hand has sat out our last four games in all competitions after suffering a back injury during the Carabao Cup final defeat to Man City last month.
Mustafi was also a doubt for the game tomorrow after being forced off during the 3-0 win over Watford at the Emirates at the weekend with a groin problem.
However, it looks like all three players are winning their race to be fit as Bellerin, Monreal and Mustafi were all spotted taking part in full training at London Colney this morning.

The news is a huge boost as all three players are expected to start against Milan in defence if fit and we know if we keep a clean sheet we’ll progress to the last 8 having won the first leg 2-0 in Italy last week.
Arsene Wenger should provide a full update on the team news at his press conference this lunchtime.
