[Photos] Arsenal handed major double injury boost as duo train ahead of Watford
Arsenal have been handed a double injury boost with Sead Kolasinac and Calum Chambers taking part in full training ahead of our Premier League clash with Watford tomorrow.
We welcome the Hornets to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon and it looked as though we were facing an injury crisis in the full-back positions.
Kolasinac was forced off midway through the second half during our 2-0 victory over AC Milan on Thursday night after picking up an ankle injury and Arsene Wenger said he was a doubt for the game tomorrow.
With Nacho Monreal already ruled out with a back injury, it’s a huge relief that Kolasinac looks to have made a swift recovery as he was able to take part in full training at London Colney today.
Chambers has been filling-in for the injured Hector Bellerin in recent games but he limped off against Milan with severe cramp. However, he was also able to train with the rest of the squad today so should be available tomorrow.
It’s a big boost that Kolasinac and Chambers look to be fit as we’d have been struggling to find two full-backs to play against Watford had they been ruled out. Even Chambers isn’t a natural right-back as it is.
