Video: Arsenal 2-2 Chelsea: Bellerin stunner rescues point for Gunners
Hector Bellerin scored in injury time to rescue Arsenal a deserved 2-2 draw against Chelsea at the Emirates this evening.
We had an early let off as Morata dragged his shot wide after poor defending from Chambers allowed the Blues striker a clear run on goal.
Sanchez then went agonisingly close to opening the scoring as his shot was tipped on to the post by Courtois only for the ball to roll across the line and come back off the opposite post.
Lacazette also forced Courtois in to a fine save while Fabregas fired high and wide when well placed as the first half somehow ended goalless.
Lacazette then had a great chance early in the second but we finally found a way through when Jack Wilshere smashed home a loose ball in the 63rd minute.
However, once again we were screwed by the officials as Chelsea were gifted a penalty just four minutes later when Hazard dived to the floor under minimal contact from Bellerin. The Chelsea man converted for 1-1.
Chelsea then took the lead as Maitland-Niles lost out to Zappacosta and the Italian’s cross was turned home by Alonso in the 85th minute. However, we grabbed a late equaliser when Bellerin curled home a superb strike from the edge of the area in stoppage time to make it 2-2.

Chambers is not good enough nor will he be. But he will stay ‘cos AW paid £16m for him (to Soton’s amazement). A draw seemed a fair result in a very exciting end to end match. That said,it was yet another joke penalty decision against Arsenal. Bring on TMO … oh not, that’s right the powers that be (in contrast to the tens of millions of real fans) are trying to avoid it.
