Video: Arsenal 6-0 BATE: Gunners thrash sorry Borisov
Arsenal thrashed BATE Borisov 6-0 at the Emirates this evening to end our Europa League campaign in style.
We dominated from the outset and opened the scoring in the 11th minute thanks to a lovely strike from the most unlikely source as Mathieu Debuchy drilled home.
Theo Walcott then doubled our lead with a tidy finish before Jack Wilshere scored his first goal since May 2015 as he fired home a powerful effort just before half-time.
A Walcott cross was then put through his own net by Palyakow to make it 4-0 shortly after half time and Olivier Giroud converted from the spot for 5-0 after Walcott was fouled in the area.
The rout was complete when Wilshere set-up Mohamed Elneny to curl home a wonderful effort in the 74th minute as we wrapped-up the group in style.
