Video: Arsenal 1-3 Man Utd: Defensive errors cost dominant Arsenal

By on December 2, 2017

Arsenal somehow managed to lose 3-1 to Manchester United at the Emirates this evening despite dominating for much of the game and forcing David De Gea in to 14 saves.

It was a nightmare start as Koscielny’s poor cross-field pass was intercepted and Valencia was given the space to drive through Cech’s legs to give United a 4th minute lead.

We shot ourselves in the foot once again less than 10 minutes later as Mustafi’s indecision gifted possession to United and Martial’s lovely flick found Lingered who made it 2-0 in the 11th minute.

Arsenal dominated from then on but somehow failed to score despite having 15 shots on goal in a frantic opening forty-five minutes and we somehow went in at the break 2-0 behind.

We FINALLY got the goal we deserved when Sanchez found Ramsey with a lovely ball and he laid it off to Lacazette who fired home in the 49th minute.

However, after De Gea had made a world class double save to deny Lacazette and Sanchez, United broke and made it 3-1 as Pogba set-up Lingard to tap in to an empty net following more poor defending from Koscielny.

United were down to 10-men in the 75th minute when Pogba was dismissed for a poor foul on Bellerin and we should have had two stonewall penalties during the closing stages but neither were given so we slumped to a 3-1 defeat.
