Arsenal star wins October PFA Premier League Player of the Month award

Arsenal star Nacho Monreal has won the PFA Premier League Fans’ Player of the Month Award for October following a string of impressive displays.

Monreal has been one of our most consistent performers this season after growing in to his new role on the left side of a three-man defence.

The Spaniard was nominated for the October PFA Player of the Month after continuing his excellent form with some superb performances last month as he was ever-present during our games throughout October.

Monreal scored the opening goal during our 2-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion and grabbed a vital equaliser en route to our 5-2 win over Everton at Goodison Park.

He also impressed against Watford and Swansea so it was no surprise to see him nominated for the monthly award along with Kevin De Bruyne, Leroy Sane, Glenn Murray, Nick Pope and Wilfried Zaha.

De Bruyne was favourite to win but Arsenal fans have shown their power once again as Monreal has been announced as the October PFA Player of the Month for October this morning.

Well done Nacho, thoroughly deserved!
