Video: Chelsea 0-0 Arsenal: Mustafi goal ruled out as Gunners held
Shkodran Mustafi saw a goal correctly ruled out for offside as Arsenal secured an impressive 0-0 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this afternoon.
We were the better side during the opening forty-five minutes as should have opened the scoring when Alexandre Lacazette poked over from close range after Aaron Ramsey had hit the post.
Chelsea also had a great chance when Petr Cech denied Pedro when he was clean through as the two sides went in all-square at the break.
Chelsea improved after half-time but Arsenal thought they had found the breakthrough when Mustafi headed home but the linesman correctly raised his flag.
David Luiz was sent off during the closing stages for a lunge on Sead Kolasinac but there wasn’t enough time for us to take advantage of the extra man so we had to settle for a well-earned point.
