Video: Watford 1-3 Arsenal: Sanchez & Ozil on target for Gunners
Arsenal finally collected our first three points of the new Premier League season after easing to a 3-1 victory over Watford at Vicarage Road on Saturday afternoon.
We opened the scoring from the spot after Sanchez was fouled in the area. Cazorla stepped up to end his 40-game goal-scoring drought to slot home for 0-1 in the 9th minute.
It was 2-0 in the 40th minute as a superb break-away led to Walcott supplying a stunning cross for Sanchez who flicked the ball over the line with goal-line technology confirming it was a goal.
A superb first half display ended with Arsenal scoring a third with Sanchez finding Ozil with a stunning cross and the German headed home for 3-0 in the 45th minute.
Watford pulled one back shortly after the break as Pereyra fired home after we failed to clear the ball in the box but we held on to secure a much-needed 3-1 win.
