Video: Oxlade-Chamberlain scores beauty as England beat Lithuania

By on October 12, 2015

Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was on target as England cruised to a 3-0 victory over Lithuania in their Euro 2016 qualifier on Monday night.

The Ox was handed a start by Roy Hodgson and after a disappointing opening 45 minutes, the Arsenal midfielder was far more influential after the break.

After goals from Ross Barkley and an own from Arlauskis, Oxlade-Chamberlain smashed the ball high in to the net in the 62nd minute to wrap up the three points.

The win ensures England maintained their 100% record in the qualifying stage for next summers Euro 2016 finals.

Kieran Gibbs also played the full ninety minutes and thankfully it looks like all the Arsenal boys came through the game unscathed.
