We’re through to a second successive FA Cup final after a hard fought 2-1 win over Reading this evening.
We opened the scoring shortly before half time when Mesut Ozil found Alexis Sanchez in the area with a stunning ball and the Chilean kept his cool to make it 1-0.
Reading got a deserved equaliser when McClearly volleyed home at the far post with Szczesny unable to keep the ball out.
We couldn’t find another goal in normal time so we were forced into extra-time and were extremely fortunate with the winner, as Federici allowed Sanchez’s effort to slip through his hands and into the net for 2-1.
So we’re through to the final where we’ll play either Aston Villa or Liverpool.
