VIDEO: Watch Podolski Bag Goal + Three Assists For Germany Tonight

By on June 6, 2014

Arsenal’s German contingent were in action tonight as they continued their World Cup preparations with a warm-up victory over Armenia on Friday night.

Per Mertesacker played the entire ninety minutes while Mesut Ozil came off the bench at half time to grab an assist but it was Lukas Podolski who really stole the show.

The attacker replaced the injured Marco Reus just before the break with the score at 0-0 and completely changed the game, helping himself to a goal and THREE assists as the Germans eventually ran out 6-1 victors.

Podolski isn’t everyone’s cup of tea and he can go missing in games, but there’s no doubt he can be lethal and his return in terms of goals and assists for both club and country can’t be argued with.

Chelsea have already signed 2 world class players-diego Costa and sesc fabregas. Liverpool have signed 2 also. what is Wenger doing? dithering and pricing players like peanuts: morata, aurier, griezman, baloteli, the list is endless(ofcourse we are very busy in the transfer market this summer). at about 11 pm on 31st august Wenger will rush in one or two players, then the heart ache for arsenal fans starts for the season, as Wenger hopes to beat mancity, Chelsea, Liverpool and manunited to the league title and thrash barca, real Madrid and Bayern to the UCL trophy. what a joker this man is.

I am sure thats the reason why the LFC boss said ” what are you smoking at the emirates there” during the Suarez saga. I dont really like the way our gaffer conducts his transfer business. It leaves a lot to be desired.
