PHOTOS: Oxlade-Chamberlain In Action As Arsenal U-21’s Beat Fulham
The Ox is back! Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain returned to action tonight as he started for the Arsenal Under-21’s against Fulham in the League Cup.
The young midfielder has been on the sidelines for five months after injuring his knee against Aston Villa on the opening day of the season.
However, he returned to training on Monday and was named in the starting eleven against Fulham tonight. He completed 45 minutes as the under-21’s eased into the quarter final’s of the cup with a 1-0 win thanks to a second half effort from Thomas Eisfeld.
It’s great to see The Ox back and he could now be in the squad to face Aston Villa on Monday.
