VIDEO: Arsenal 2-0 Southampton: Giroud Double Sinks Saints

Arsenal moved four points clear at the top of the Premier League thanks to a 2-0 victory over Southampton this afternoon.

Olivier Giroud took advantage of some awful goalkeeping from Boruc to put us ahead in the first half, with the Frenchman robbing the Pole of possession in the area before tapping into the empty net.

We controlled much of the game and finally sealed the three points late on when Fonte was adjudged to have pulled Mertesacker back in the area and Giroud made no mistake from the penalty spot.

The win sees us move four points clear of Liverpool – who drew 3-3 with Everton earlier today. Watch the goals from Arsenal’s win:
