Arsenal predicted line-up against Slavia Prague

Following a comfortable 2-0 victory over newly promoted Burnley in the Premier League, Arsenal will have to quickly shift their focus to Europe as they face Slavia Prague in the Champions League at the Fortuna Arena tonight.
The Gunners have been in excellent form in recent weeks, winning the last seven matches across all competitions without conceding a goal.
They have won all three matches in the Champions League and are yet to be breached defensively. In contrast, Slavia Prague are currently out of the top 24 and are still searching for their first win.
Team news
Gabriel Jesus, Kai Havertz, Noni Madueke, and Martin Odegaard have been out injured over the last few weeks and aren’t in contention to be involved tonight.
On the other hand, Gabriel Martinelli picked up an injury during the Crystal Palace match. As a result, he missed out on the last two games and isn’t ready to feature in this game either.
Viktor Gyokeres sustained a muscular issue last time out vs Burnley and was taken off at the interval. He wasn’t involved in the training ahead of this game, so he has been ruled out for this encounter.
Kepa Arrizabalaga was also absent from the training and may not travel with the squad, while Martin Zubimendi is suspended today.
Predicted line-up
Mikel Arteta is likely to field his team in his preferred 4-3-3 formation with David Raya set to be between the sticks. William Saliba was in doubt for the weekend’s game due to a minor injury, but played the full game.
So, he might get rested today, and Cristhian Mosquera could get the nod to start in the centre-back position alongside Gabriel Magalhaes. Ben White could be in the right-back position ahead of Jurrien Timber, while Piero Hincapié should be on the opposite side.
Therefore, Riccardo Calafiori is expected to get a breather in midweek, and Myles Lewis-Skelly may get involved as a substitute.
Amid Zubimendi’s absence, Christian Norgaard is likely to be in the defensive midfield position, and Declan Rice should be alongside the Dane, pushing Eberechi Eze in the No.10 role.
Bukayo Saka would continue on the right flank, and Leandro Trossard might be on the left. Mikel Merino could be deployed as an auxiliary striker amid Gyokeres’ absence.
Expected Arsenal line-up vs Slavia Prague:
Raya; White, Mosquera, Gabriel, Hincapié; Norgaard, Rice, Eze; Saka, Merino, Trossard
