Video: Arsenal’s Lukas Podolski Scores Stunning Winner For Inter
On loan Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski has finally broken his duck after scoring a stunner for Inter Milan tonight.
The German international moved to the San Siro on loan in January but has struggled to settle in Italy and went into tonight’s clash with Udinese without a goal to his name in 13 appearances.
However, Podolski came off the bench in the 65th minute with the scores level at 1-1 after Udinese were reduced to nine-men and thrashed home a powerful left-footed (obviously!) strike from the edge of the box.
The goal turned out to be the winning goal so hopefully this will give the attacker a much-needed confidence boost.
