Arsenal are reportedly ready to spend big to sign Juventus star Dusan Vlahovic in the upcoming transfer window, as per the Italian outlet Tutto Juve.

It has recently been reported that the Gunners are exploring the possibility of signing a new striker next year to reinforce their frontline. Several names have been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium with Ivan Toney being mentioned as the primary target. But, Vlahovic is reportedly on their radar as well.

The North London club hold a long-term interest in the Serbian international as they were reportedly keen on acquiring his service at the beginning of last year. However, the 23-year-old eventually opted not to join Mikel Arteta’s side and instead decided to sign for Juventus.

However, the move hasn’t panned out for Vlahovic as he has struggled to flourish his career since the switch. So, it has previously been suggested that Vlahovic is willing to leave Juventus and take a new challenge in his career.

Now, it appears having missed out on signing him last time around, Arsenal are planning to purchase the striker next year. According to the report by Tutto Juve, Arsenal are ready to spend upto £68m to sign Vlahovic from Juventus.

But, the report claims that the Bianconeri want at least £87m to let their star man leave so, Arsenal will have to break the bank to purchase the forward.

However, Tutto Juve states that Real Madrid and Chelsea are also keen on signing Vlahovic. Therefore, Arsenal are set to face tough competition from their rivals in getting any potential deal done for the Juventus star.

Although Vlahovic struggled to showcase his best for Juventus last term, he has enjoyed a promising start to this season in Serie A, scoring four goals and registering a solitary assist in six league appearances.

The Juventus star is a talented player and possesses the potential to become a world-class striker going forward. So, he would be a great coup for the North London club if they secure his signature.

However, it is going to be interesting to see whether Arsenal eventually manage to lure him to the Emirates Stadium next year should they formalise their interest.
