Arsenal predicted line-up against Everton

After a brilliant victory against Manchester United right before the international break, Arsenal are set to return to action on Sunday afternoon when they travel to Goodison Park to take on Everton in the Premier League.
The Gunners will be full of confidence ahead of this encounter as they have enjoyed a promising start to this term, accumulating 10 points in the first four games.
However, the North London club’s recent away form versus the Toffees isn’t promising at all as they haven’t been able to win at Goodison Park in the last five encounters, losing four of those games.
So, Arsenal will be desperate to come away with all three points from this fixture against a struggling Everton team – who are yet to win this season, losing three games in the first four league encounters.
Expected Arsenal line-up vs Everton
There were talks during the international break that Mikel Arteta is planning to use David Raya as the first-choice goalkeeper over Aaron Ramsdale. However, it is expected that the Englishman will continue between the sticks for Arsenal, leaving Raya on the bench.
William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes are likely to be the centre-back pairing for the Gunners, so Jakob Kiwior will have to settle for a place on the bench.
Benjamin White should start at the right-back position and Oleksandr Zinchenko is likely to be on the left. So, Takehiro Tomiyasu will have to make do with a place on the bench. Jurrien Timber isn’t in contention to feature as he has been ruled out for the majority of this season after sustaining a knee issue.
Declan Rice will be the deep-lying playmaker and Kai Havertz could continue in the box-to-box role, while Martin Odegaard should be the attacking midfielder as usual. So, Jorginho and Fabio Vieira will have to settle for a place on the bench yet again. Thomas Partey is set to remain sidelined due to a muscle issue.
Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka should commence on the flanks so Reiss Nelson, Leandro Trossard and Emile Smith Rowe will be among the substitutes.
Gabriel Jesus, who joined the club in a £45m deal last summer, is likely to be fit enough to start the game and if he starts then Eddie Nketiah will have to make do with a place on the bench.
