Jesus Ferreira

Arsenal are reportedly monitoring the development of FC Dallas and USMNT striker Jesus Ferreira, as per the transfer journalist Dean Jones.

The 21-year-old joined the MLS club back in 2016 and made his senior debut the following year. The youngster has enjoyed a stellar campaign this term, scoring 18 goals and racking up six assists in 35 league appearances.

The striker has been named in the USMNT squad for the World Cup 2022. He is likely to be featured for Gregg Berhalter’s side in this competition and they are in the same group along with England, Wales, and Iran. The Gunners will have the opportunity to watch the American closely at the biggest stage of world football.

Writing on GiveMeSport, Jones has reported that Ferreira possesses huge potential and could shine in this World Cup. The youngster is an ‘instinctive finisher’ and likes to press the opposition higher up the field.

The journalist further claims that Arsenal have sent scouts to watch the striker but they aren’t the only club interested as several Bundesliga teams have also expressed their interest in the forward.

Jesus Ferreira to Arsenal

Jesus Ferreira could be a very good acquisition for Arsenal. The youngster likes to play in the centre-forward position, but he’s not an orthodox striker; rather likes to drop deep and roam around the field.

He can create opportunities for his teammates and also has the qualities to find spaces inside the box and score goals. The Dallas man is excellent at set-pieces as well. Therefore, the 21-year-old, standing at 173 cm, is the perfect definition of a modern striker.

Ferreira is valued at around £8m by the Transfermarkt and still has two years left in his current contract, including an option to extend the deal for one more year. So, Dallas would not want to let their star man leave for cheap and if he shines in Qatar then the price tag could increase significantly.

The USA international would be a shrewd purchase for Arsenal and it will be interesting to see whether the Emirates outfit intensify their interest in signing him in the upcoming transfer window.

Areta, leave Mudryk, and Depay. Mudryk is too costly, and Depay is not a goalscorer. You need a centre forward who can score. A winger is needed, midfielder, try Kante, a playmaker, and centre half. You know The World Cup player will be looking for huge wages. Centreback, N’Dicka, midfield, Kante, Tielemans, Cancelo, Winger A playmaker, Centre forward.
