[Photo] French star pictured in London with 4 Arsenal stars amid Gunners move talk

Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele has been pictured in London with four Arsenal players fuelling speculation he could be set for a move to the Emirates.

Dembele’s future at the Nou Camp is in doubt as he’s struggled to make an impact following his big-money move from Borussia Dortmund last summer with his debut campaign hampered by a serious hamstring injury.

The 21-year-old made just 6 starts under Ernesto Valverde last season and he’s set to fall even further down the pecking order after Barcelona splashed out on the signing of Malcom from Roma.

Dembele is understandably concerned about his role at the club and Football London reported earlier this week that his agent will hold talks with Barca officials to discuss his future amid interest from Arsenal.

We’ve been strongly linked with a move for the French international in recent weeks and TeamTalk reported last week that Unai Emery and Sven Mislintat see Dembele as our ‘dream’ signing.

Dembele has now fuelled speculation that he could be heading to the Emirates after being pictured at a dinner party in London alongside Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette, Matteo Guendouzi and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

The photo was uploaded to Instagram by Aubameyang’s father on Thursday night with a caption saying “Very happy to be with family and surrounded by our guys,”.

Obviously Dembele knows Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan well from their time together at Dortmund and the French connection explains why Lacazette and Guendouzi were also present at the dinner.

However, the rumour mill will no doubt go in to overdrive following this photo and I expect to see plenty of reports linking Dembele with a move to Arsenal over the coming days.

I’ve said for months that we lack width in the squad after selling Alexis Sanchez and Theo Walcott in January and Dembele would be the perfect addition if we could somehow get a deal agreed….but I’m not getting too excited just yet.
