[Teams] Arsenal vs Burnley: Mavropanos starts, no Ozil – confirmed line-ups
It’s sure to be an emotional afternoon as Arsene Wenger takes charge of his final home game as Arsenal manager when Burnley arrive at the Emirates this afternoon.
Young defender Kostantinos Mavropanos starts alongside Calum Chambers at the back with Sead Kolasinac also getting a recall. Petr Cech replaces David Ospina between the sticks.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang comes in to the attack alongside Alexandre Lacazette, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Alex Iwobi but Mesut Ozil doesn’t even make the squad after not training yesterday.
Apparently Ozil has a slight back injury that will keep him out for the rest of the season but it’s getting beyond a joke. He’s practically a part-timer these days.
