Arsenal have been handed an injury boost with Laurent Koscielny spotted in training this afternoon ahead of our trip to Stoke City this weekend.

Koscielny missed the win at Southampton on Wednesday night after sustaining a calf injury during our victory over Manchester United last Sunday.

Arsene Wenger confirmed earlier today that Koscielny would be assessed today but remained a doubt for tomorrow’s trip to the Bet365 Stadium.

However, it looks like the French international could be winning his battle to be fit as Kos has been spotted in training at London Colney this afternoon.

There aren’t many photos of him on the official snaps published online but the centre-back was certainly out on the training pitches with the rest of the first team squad today.

However, there was no sign of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain as the midfielder continues to recover from a hamstring injury that he picked up against Southampton in midweek.

The Ox won’t be involved against Stoke but thankfully the problem isn’t thought to be too serious so the 23-year-old should recover in time for the FA Cup final later this month.
