[Photos] Arsenal duo snapped in training together following ‘bust-up’ reports
Arsenal duo Alexis Sanchez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have been photographed ‘fist-bumping’ in training today following reports of a bust-up last week.
Reports in the newspapers suggested that Sanchez and The Ox were involved in an altercation following our 5-1 defeat at Bayern Munich last Wednesday after both players had vented their frustration on the pitch.
Arsene Wenger played down the reports at his pre-conference on Friday and I don’t think it’s any coincidence that the club have decided to publish a photo of Sanchez and Oxlade-Chamberlain smiling and ‘fist-bumping’ in training today.
The pair were among a host of first team regulars who were being put through their final preparations ahead of our FA Cup clash with Sutton United on Monday night.
Theo Walcott, Granit Xhaka, Alex Iwobi, Mo Elneny, Shkodran Mustafi, Francis Coquelin, Gabriel, Nacho Monreal and Kieran Gibbs were all at training today so they are likely to be involved tomorrow.
Youngsters Rob Holding and Jeff Reine-Adelaide were also at London Colney today while the likes of Per Mertesacker, Mathieu Debuchy and Carl Jenkinson were also training and will be hoping for a place in the squad against Sutton.
However, there was no sign of Danny Welbeck as he played for the U23’s today so is unlikely to be involved tomorrow while there was also no sign of Mesut Ozil, Petr Cech, Hector Bellerin, Olivier Giroud or Laurent Koscielny.
